Down East Vodka
Walk down any liquor store vodka aisle—you'll see tons of tall, skinny bottles with blue labels (think Grey Goose and Sky Vodka to name a few). Silver Tree knew they needed to stand out if they wanted to launch a new product in such a saturated market.
We created packaging that’s the exact opposite of your run-of-the-mill vodka by highlighting the handcrafted distilling style as well as nodding to Down East’s farming roots. We accomplished this by using a bottle shape that resembles bourbon, an earthy color palette that looks like harvest time and rustic typography.
In just eight months, Silver Tree sold almost 4,000 bottles of Down East Vodka between St. Louis and Chicago. They tripled their production per batch and Down East have been featured in several craft spirit magazines.
